HOT HOT HOT

Itś unbelievable hot this summer in Estonia. Ok i admit itś what we wanted. We all wished for a hot and lasting summer weather. So here it is... :)
But when it comes to work, it is just so hard to work in this temperature. Espesially knitting longer dresses. So i don´t have any new thing to show. Only some a bit older new things :P
I have not shown here 2 two longer dresses that i knitted and some new hats.

My princesses birthday

It was my daughters birthday this weekend. She is 4 now :)
She got lots of gifts but i wanted to show you one gift especially. Actually it is many gift together.
She is so into princesses and pink so this is perfect for her.
So this is her new princess bed :)

About my handwork too.
I made a new album on my Facebook fan page. Itś an album for the pictures that my dear costumers have sent me. Pictures where there cuties wear my designs. I love these fun and cute pictures and i´m so happy to have such good customers :)

Also i´ve been making some new hat designs for summer. Especially hats for these very hot days. Here is one of these NEW designs for boys. Modeling the hat is my daughter :)

Sea of flowers and crochet earflap hats :)

Spring in just getting started in Estonia. The first flowers are blossoming and making this gray sleeping nature colorful again :)

White snowdrops and my faworite blue hepatica (hope it is the right name) are blossoming and they are the inspiration to these cute crochet earflap hats.

Striking colors

This dress was a custom order and i had so much fun making it. Itś always fun when the customer just sais what colors she prefers and i can do the rest. Itś not the first dress i´ve made in this color combinatin, but i like this one best. I´ll let my pictures do the talking :)

Little bit of sunshine in my knitting

I love pink especially in the summer. Itś the perfect color for beach wear. So here is my latest knitted top in sunny pink. Soft, comfortable, bright and just perfect :)

Knitting inspiration

If i look outside itś not very inpiring site for me. This winter is so long but i´m just longing for flowers and sunshine. So i desided to look threw last years summer photos and found some very nice fotos i´ve made. So i wanted to show you these summer green photos that give me inpiration to make new spring summer items :)
And i also will show you some new items that i´ve made :)

And yet another knitted summer dress

I just cant help myself. I love making these little cute summer dresses. This dress is made of my favorite yarn. Its 60% bamboo and 40% cotton. Itś soft and smooth and just perfect!!

I love colors :)

I have alway been very conservative when it comes to colors. I never wear bright colors. Maybe itś because i´m not bold enough or i dont want to draw too much attention to mayself. But still i love colors. And so when my daughter was born i discovered a whole new world of bold, bright and beautiful colors. I love to experiment and combine. So here is my spring/summer 2010 first knitted dress. Still 100% cotton because itś just the best yarn for summer clothing. Bright orange, pink and yellow work so well together. What do you think?

February Sale

I decided to make a February sale in my store. So i made some special items for that. I usually use cotton yarn, but this time i used wool. For wrist warmers wool is very good. Soft and light and warm.
So this time if you buy one pair you get the other for free.
I know from my own kids that there must always be a spare pair :)

A few days without knitting

Believe me its not that i didn´t want to knit or planned a vacation for myself. We just all had a stomach flu. It was horrible. I don´t remember when i last was so sick. Only today i´m getting my energy back a bit. Making some plans for February. At the beginning of February i was invited to a bazaar to sell my handwork and i´m thinking if i´ll be abel to make enoughe items for it. At least i´ll try :)
Here is a little peek to my new knitted dress that will be ready hopefully in a few days and a matching headband. Both in fantastic radiant orange !!

Spring collectin...

Here are some new items from my spring collection.
First a knitted minidress/tunic. These knitted dressis are unbeliavable soft and comfortable for kids to wear. They are warm, but not too warm. Even in the summer cotton is the best materail to wear :) Kids can wear these dresses for a long tima. For a one year old girl it is a dress, but for a 3-4 year old it is tunic, that your kid can wear with jeans or tights.





And here is another set of a crochet newsboy hat and little wristwarmesr. Peach colore is so beautiful for spring.

A sweet picture

I just wanted to show you this absolutely adorable picture of my friends 3 months old baby girl. They needed a little christmas dress for little Liis. It came out great i think :) She looks soo sweet in this dress.

I have just been so lazy today. Itś one of those days when you just want to snuggle up in front of the tv and watch the fire in the fireplace. mmm... Still i have plans to bake a cake for the evening. Then the day is perfect :)

Waiting for spring!!

I love spring :) Although the winter in Estonia this year is amazing i still can´t wait for the days to get longer and for the first flowers to come out!!
Here is my first items from the spring collection. I love wrist warmers and so do my kids. My daughter can´t wait until spring too so she could wear them outside. Wright now she is wearing them at home :) Also the newsgirl hat is one of my favourite for srping.

Happy new year everyone and welcome to my blog. I decided to start this year fresh and make a new blog.
So for the start, here is something about me. My name is Heidi and at this moment i am a stay at home mom. I have two adorable and energetic kids. Daughter Meribel is 3,5 years and son Markkus is 2 years old. I live in Estonia.
I have been knitting and crocheting since i was about 14. It has always been my hobby. I went to study fashion design and it has given me a very good idea of how to make clothing that fits. But the problem is that i do not like sewing at all. I rather knit and crochet.
When my daughter was born i started to knit and crochet for her and saw that there are not many beautiful and comfortable clothind and hats in the stores. So when i made something to my daughter my friand started to ask these items for there kids too. This is how my Ilutegija project started.
So in this blog you will find my newest designs and also the projects that are not for kids.
